Traveling Light?

Traveling light?  I don't know if you have ever gone overseas for 3 1/2 years, but I can tell you that it is not easy unless you are a pack horse!  Me, I chose to take the essentials that all Americans need or think they do.

Ciao Orlando

My goddaughter Rachel & her sister Raya drove all the way from Corpus Christi, Texas to say "Bon Voyage" before I flew South to San Salvador.  We had a couple fun packed days, and I really enjoyed being together again.  They are amazing young ladies, and OMG did they help me with last minute computer issues, and finding a pair of sandals that would last for 3 years.  They also got me to the Orlando Airport just in time even when snow in Atlanta had almost canceled my flight.  CIAO (no goodbyes) to Orlando, Rachel, Raya, my family & friends in California, Florida, Georgia, New York, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Mississippi, and Arizona.

Fun in the Sun

The Christmas and New Years celebrations were wonderful in Santa Rosa, California with my family and friends.  I had a great time visiting and catching up with all the news.  We shared good times, laughter, and conversations.  The days went fast, and we had a Bob Voyage party at a local Mexican restaurant.  Here are some photos of my family & friends enjoying the cool weather in Santa Rosa before I leave for MKLM Mission service in El Salvador on Wednesday.
